Meraas is a private company based in Dubai with operations and assets across the United Arab Emirates. In 2020, Meraas became a subsidiary of Dubai Holding as directed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai.

Some of the major works include Port De La Mer, City Walk, Bluewater’s Island, Bulgari Resort, Nikki Beach Resort, Spa Residence and Villa Amalfi at Jumeirah Bay.

Booming Meraas launched its Harbor in Dubai in 2019. The planned development was advertised as ‘the biggest marina in the MENA region’, which included 1,100 hectars. It was also set to house the 135 meter Dubai Lighthouse.

In 2021, Meraas presented the Ain Dubai. Located on Bluewaters Island, it is over 250 meters high. The structure boasts over 9000 tons of steel. While construction was ongoing, it was labeled the ‘largest Ferris wheel on earth.”

The company’s leisure and entertainment arm manages a portfolio of destinations which includes Dubai Safari. Other projects include the Green Planet in City Walk, which is an indoor tropical rainforest, Hub Zero in City Walk, which is an indoor amusement park with rides, VR, Hawa Hawa in La Mer which is a huge inflatable playground, Ain Dubai Bluewaters the tallest observation wheel, and many more.

The hospitality unit manages the group’s hotels and has collaborated with hotel brands like Bvlgari Hotels and Resorts, Jumeirah Marriott, Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts, and Caesars Entertainment.

Properties of Meraas Hospitality include La Ville Hotel and Suites, Caesars Palace, Caesars Resort Blue Waters, Zabeel Saray, and Al Seef Hotel, Nikki Beach Resort and Spa.
